Hi! I'm Maya.
I am passionate about helping small businesses succeed. Nothing is more satisfying to me than balanced books, tidy records, attractive and purposeful websites, and good grammar.
I have had a pretty interesting and varied career so far. The highlight reel of my work life includes:

Innkeeper of a 5 star Bed & Breakfast in Naramata, BC

10+ years working in all aspects of the wine industry: vineyard management, tasting room, sales, and finally management and winemaking.

BA from Simon Fraser University (Major: English Literature; Minor: Communications)
Like so many people, the advent of the pandemic led me to a profound re-evaluation of my work-life balance, and to a decision in favour of my family. I want to do the parts of all of these aforementioned jobs that I am most passionate about, and still be home to help my kids with their homework. My goal is to help small business owners reach this balance in their own lives, with my support.
